Registration Information

Good morning and Happy Spring!  Registration for Summer swimming starts this week.  Below is some information about how things a changing a bit for registration.

This year we will be moving to an online registration system.  We are doing this for various reasons; the main reason is to help make the processing and management of all of the registration information easier on our coaches and volunteer parents.

This system will allow us to not only accept credit card payments, but also put all of our orders for suits and spirit wear, volunteer sign-ups and yes/no commitment in one system.  This will be our first time using this system and as much as we hope that this will go off without a hitch, there may be a few bugs for us to work out.  We ask that you are patient with any issues that might arise.

Here is a brief description of how the system will work:

Once registration opens, there will be a link on the homepage of  Go to the link and on the right side of the screen you will see a “Register Now” button.  Once the button is clicked, you’ll be taken to our registration page.  You will be asked to create an account with, this is the company that hosts our online registration.  Once you have an account with them, you will be able to see all of the meets that you swimmer has committed to, any balance owed to the team, your volunteer commitments, etc.

Once the account is created, you will enter all of the pertinent information for your swimmer and contact information.  You will also be able to place your order for suits, spirit wear, caps and goggles.

There will be a small fee for registering online, because of this the Board has decided to keep registration prices the same as last year (Before 5/1/2014 – $70/swimmer, $65/additional swimmer; after 5/1/2014 – $90/swimmer, $85/additional swimmer).

Once your registration is complete, you will be able to go to the Stingrays Swim portal.  Here you will see all of the volunteer slots available to fulfill the volunteer commitment.  In about a week you will start to receive emails about meets that are available to sign up for.  You will be able to commit your swimmer to the meets they will be swimming at.  There will be a date that all of the meets close for commitment.  You will always be able to see what meets and volunteer positions you signed up for at the Swim Portal.

If you do not have a family swim membership for the Rec, you will still need to fill out the Rec’s membership form and get a summer swim team membership through them.

Again, please bear with us as we move to this new system.
