Welcome – Important Information

I wanted to start off by saying welcome to all of the new Stingrays out there.  We had a great turnout at  both of our registration days, we are looking really good for the season.

For some of you this is the first blog post you are receiving, for others I hope you aren’t getting tired of me yet.  I have a few items I wanted to get out to everyone.

Yes/No Signup – Please go to  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0848ADAC292-meet to view the signup sheet.  Please sign up EACH CHILD’S first AND last name (for example, use “John Smith” and “Jen Smith,” not “John and Jen Smith”) in the Child(ren) Name(s) field.

  • We will be closing the Yes/No signup for the Conestoga Valley Invitational on May 17, 2013 (remember the CVI is for developmental/slower swimmers).
  • We will be closing the Yes/No signup for the rest of the summer season on May 24, 2013.

PLEASE GET YOUR SWIMMER(S) SIGNED UP ASAP!  Our coaches need time to submit rosters and start looking at lineups for the season.

 

Schedule – There have been changes to some of the dates that have been out at both of the registration days.  Please go to http://www.hempfieldstingrays.com/schedule/ to view the updated schedule of dates.

Parent Meeting – We will be having a parent meeting at the HARC Pavilion (outside of the pool) on the first night of practice Tuesday, May 21, 2013.  There will be a meeting during both the early and late practice (5:30pm for 12U and up, 6:15pm for 10U and under).  In the past, this was a meeting for ‘New Parents’.  This year we are asking that someone from each family show up for the meeting.  We have some items that we want to share/discuss with everyone.

Spirit and Swim Wear Orders – Just a reminder that we are making the order for both the swim wear and spirit wear on May 24, 2013.  Please have your orders in before that date.  You can download forms here:

Volunteers – Please remember that a successful Stingrays season is only possible with the help of everyone.  As a member of the team you are required to commit to signing up to help at a minimum of 2 meets and bring 3 food donations.  Please go to the links below to sign up for both volunteer positions and concession donations.
